Great Shelford & Little Shelford C of E Primary School
Garden creation, engagement of students and staff, delivery of workshops, seed donation and horticultural support.
Cultivating Change started working with Great Shelford in 2025, after winning a grant from PEM to develop their patch of grass into a functioning garden. Now it has tyre planters, and two large raised beds where Cultivating Change has delivered outside growing workshops, supported World Earth Day and helped on gardening Tuesdays. The children have flourished and enjoyed harvesting what they have grown from lettuces, to broad beans, chard and spring onions!

“A child in year 3 regularly now choses the garden as their ‘treat’ activity to incentivise their work”
