Anglia in Bloom Judging at Human Roots!

Human Roots entered Anglia in Bloom together with other entries from Stansted, the judging took place on Monday 6th! Results released in September, fingers crossed!

Scarecrows At Human Roots

Recently Human Roots hosted two events for local Beavers. The main aim for them was to achieve their Gardener Activity Badge. We split the Beavers into groups, with activities to help them understand the process of growing plants, identifying certain produce within the allotment, sewing some ‘magic’ beans themselves, to then take home and grow. The finale was assembling a scarecrow, and as the Football World Cup was happening, we tried to create the scarecrows with a sporty theme!
