They said Rome wasn’t built in a Day, but the new fruit cage at Human Roots certainly was!
On a rather damp afternoon in July, the volunteers gathered to construct the new fruit cage. We purchased the cage using the grant awarded by Essex County Council Initiatives Scheme. The cage will give us maximum protection from hungry pigeons; this will allow us to grow more and varied fruits that can then be consumed by the local community!
